So, how does it all work? How do I pick a room?
Virtually visit your city of choice ((PARIS | LYON | MONTPELLIER | LILLE | TOULOUSE | BORDEAUX), here you can see all of the apartments that correspond to your price and location preferences. You’ll find all the details (address, current flatmates, photos etc) by clicking on the bedroom's page so that no surprise is possible.
As a result, we do not organize viewings in our accommodations. There wouldn't be anything else to see in person that's not on our website.
We also don't arrange visits to respect the peace of our tenants, as we have a lot of demand for each room and rent on a first come, first serve basis. This way, you can be assured that during your stay you will not have to host many visits after long days of work/ studies.
We can communicate the e-mail contacts of the tenants of the flat you prefer so that you can get to know them before taking your decision. Please note that our tenants are not under any obligation to make you view the flat and we cannot guarantee that the bedroom you like will stay available while they answer you. Do not hesitate to ask our team if you want to communicate with the tenants of one of our flats.
To block your room, just click on the “rent this bedroom" button and follow the steps (it takes about 10 minutes), the payment of the service fee enables you to immediately block the room.
💳 Service Fee, Rent, Bills et Deposit
The service fee corresponds to the value of the services listed above, once it’s paid the room is blocked for you. Click here for more info. You can also get in touch with our team to know the price of the service fee in the city you are looking for a bedroom.
The rent on the page of the room is does not include bills, you need to add 60€ to cover costs of monthly bills (no matter the room). The bills are all inclusive (you’ll even have internet and housing insurance included).
Some of our rooms are eligible for two people sharing. You just have to add 90€ to the cost of rent, bills and additional sharing charges.
The deposit is to be paid at latest a day before moving in, the deposit will be charged, and reimbursed at latest 60 days after departure.
📁 Tenancy file
With Chez Nestor, it’s simple. We do not select our tenants, once you’ve blocked a room, it’s all yours. We will only ever ask for a maximum two documents once you have reserved, you can find out which documents are required during step 2 of the rental process after clicking the "rent this bedroom" button.
🧐 When will the rent begin? Is it possible to reserve in advance?
Once the bedroom is reserved, the rent will always begin from the date of availability. That means that if you block a room available immediately, even if you want to move in a day, a week or a month after the reservation, the rent will still begin from the date of availability. It is not possible to reserve a bedroom in advance, without paying the rent from the date the room belongs to you.

📆 How long can I actually stay in a Chez Nestor flatshare ?
30 days minimum, then as long as you like :) If you want to leave, just tell us 30 days beforehand - it’s that simple!
